Male Infertility

Infertility can occur due to fault in male, female or both. It is generally said that male factors accounts for 40%, female factors 40%. Another 20% may be due to both male and female factors of unexplained reasons. Common causes of male infertility are congenital anomalies, anatomical problems, hormonal abnormalities, testicular damage, varicocele, obstruction of ejaculatory duct, medical problems such as infections that can affect spermatogenesis and maturation, side effects of medication etc.
