It may be due to muscle contractions if she was tensed or keeping the body stiff. It is better to consult a Gynecologist and to take an advise after examination.

Q:

Dear Sir, I am a 25-year old man. I am facing the biggest crisis in my life as, I am going to get married. My brief background would make it clear. When I was around 10, my female cousin (around the same age) and I used to sleep together. On one such occassion, her hand accidentally touched my thigh and felt something bulging. She asked me what it was. In my childly enthusiasm I opened my shorts and all that she saw was my erect penis. She got excited and started rocking it saying she has been able to see my shame-shame . Later, in the same excitement she told all this to her mother as though it were some achievement on her part! For this, both of us got a good spanking with a warning that it is indeed shameful for boys and girls to see the shame-shame of one another. As I grew older, I saw the same notion being reinforced in various situations. But the situation I am going to get into, demands that the shameful be considered desirable - all in the name of sex! And till now I have no idea how a grown-up girl/young lady reacts on seeing a penis. Pray tell me whether she would feel shameful, angry, shocked or worse still, mock at my shame-shame. How do I even hope to face the blasphemous prospect of her having to touch it with her hand? I do not see any escape from the situation I find myself in. KARTIK

Ans:

Though marriage can produce certain amount of stress don t consider it as a crisis. The question reflects your ignorance on sexual matters. Nothing to worry about it. Every normal human being does it some time or other. If your partner got a reasonably good knowledge, she will guide you. Sometimes she may feel a little shy. Do not attempt for sexual contact on the first day. The first few days you spent to know more about each other. Start with touching each other. You take off your cloths only When both of you become very comfortable. As both of you become comfortable and able to enjoy each others touch you can proceed gradually step by step.

The memories of past experience is haunting you. You have to come out of it. You need sexuality education and counseling. It is better to have pre marriage counselling. You can consult a sexologist or a clinical psychologist.

Q:

sir, I am 29 years old and single. Up to my 17 years there is no problem to my testicles. After that my one testis disappeared suddenly. When i consulted a GYNO he said that it is quite natual in some mens and one testis is sufficient for a man.For the last few years there are three or more small granules like projections in my testis bag.But there is no problems in the erection and ejaculation.I am very much disturbed about my future married life .Pls give me a direction sir.

JIS  Asked on 01/12/12 1:36:44 AM

Ans:

The information you gave is not sufficient enough to understand the problem. Since there was no pain preceding the vanishing episode of your testicle most likely this could be a retractile testis. It is a condition where a testicle may move back and forth between the scrotum and the groin. If it is a retractile testis usually it remains in the abdominal region (inguinal canal or in the superficial inguinal area). By clinical examination if the testis cannot be located you may have to undergo an ultrasonography or CT scan or MRI to locate it. Depending on the findings treatment can be planned. Retractile testicle has certain risks like testicular cancer, fertility problems, testicular torsion etc.

You consulted the wrong doctor. Gynecologist is a specialist of women’s health who deals with the female reproductive system, pregnancy etc. You must have consulted an andrologist or a urologist who deals with men’s health and male reproductive system. Please consult an andrologist.
