Ans:

Dear Mr.Vimal Kumar,

There is conventional treatment for Varicocoele other than surgery, but it is not very effective. If your sperm quality is poor medicines may help to increase the sperm quality temperoraly. The choice of treatment is based on the findings of evaluation like the sperm quality, grade of varicocoele and the severety of damaged occured to the testicular function due to varicocoele etc. So before planning the treatment you need appropriate evaluation.

Dear Doctor: I have been suffering from ED. First let me explain my problem and kindly give me your suggestion whether it is curable or not. I think I have clouding of penile arteries which can be visible by its shape. The shaft becomes narrow in some portion and then it is normal in other portion which causes me to get only half erection. If it is atherosclerosis, could it be cured or not. The most common organic cause for an inability to achieve and hold on to an erection is a problem of blood flow inside penis. The more blood flowing into the penis the more rigid will be the erection. Without appropriate investigations and physical examination we cannot give an accurate answer. ED is definitely treatable.

By having sexual intercours on menstruation day will not cause any harm. The ovulation days are the most fertile period. There is no chance for pregnancy by having sexual contact on menstrual days.

It appears that you are a binge drinker who goes on drinking for a period and stops and starts again.Inspite of your awareness of your problem you are not able to control it. From your description it appears that your ED may be alcohol indeed. It is advisable to consult an andrologist and undergo investigations to rule out any sexual dysfunction before marriage.

Usually development of plaque inside the penis causes curvature. Curvature above 30 degree can cause difficulty in sexual intercourse. It can also cause pain. It is advisable to consult an andrologist and get his opinion.
